Agnes Winlaw
Associate | Operations Coordinator
Agnes’s connection to the ocean started early. She grew up boating with her family on the coastal waters of British Columbia, and that bond has only deepened through her recent coastal cruising. Based on Vancouver Island, surrounded by open ocean and shaped by Pacific wind and weather, she finds the water energizing and restorative. That firsthand respect for the marine environment is what draws her to MEVC’s mission: making clean, quiet, zero-emission boating a practical reality for the recreational marketplace.
Agnes built her career in professional recording and music advertising, an industry defined by tight schedules, thin budgets, and many moving parts. She managed demanding production timelines while coordinating clients, talent, studios, and agencies, each with their own priorities and personalities. Alongside that work, she founded and ran her own special event services businesses, where she handled product procurement, event coordination, and full financial accountability. As an owner-operator, she learned firsthand what it takes to source the right resources, deliver flawlessly on a fixed date, and make every dollar count.
Those skills translate directly to MEVC. As a launch-stage company building a global consortium of marine EV manufacturers and B2B buyers, MEVC moves quickly across many priorities at once. Agnes supports the executive team behind that work: managing schedules and calendars across time zones, coordinating internal workflows and events, supporting financial tracking and administration, and keeping projects and deadlines on track. Her entrepreneurial background and experience in lean, cost-conscious industries make her a natural fit for a company that has to do more with every resource.
Agnes also serves on the leadership team of The Green Boater, where she helps the community grow and engage with intention and purpose.
