Bruno Hoffman

Founder | Chief Evangelist

Bruno started on the technical side, in engineering drafting and fiberglass manufacturing. He co-founded his first company, a technology firm, in 1986, then spent a decade in enterprise software, selling manufacturing, ERP and supply chain systems to C-level executives across North America and Europe. He relocated his family to Germany to direct major pan-European projects, then went on to found and run his own marketing and technology services businesses. The pattern held in every role: understand the client’s business problem quickly, match it with the right technical solution, and build the trust that makes the relationship work for both sides.

In 2018 Bruno founded The Green Boater, a media platform and community that educates recreational boaters on eco-friendly products and practices through a blog, podcast, videos and a community hub. Through its Marine EV Leadership Series on The Green Boater TV, he interviewed 40 of the founders and CEOs building the marine EV industry. That series was one of many initiatives that shaped MEVC, and each pointed to the same gap: the technology is ready, but the market that connects builders and buyers isn’t.

MEVC is his answer. It combines a verified directory of 300+ marine EV manufacturers, the AI-powered MEVC Navigator, and commercial advisory for marinas, tour operators, water taxi services and fleets electrifying their operations. Bruno built and leads the MEVC team on the same principles that shaped his career: understand the customer’s business first, earn trust on both sides, and build the pipeline between supplier and customer.
